Sun Protection (UPF) Disclaimer
Last updated: January 14, 2026
NourishGuard garments are designed using fabrics intended to help block ultraviolet (UV) radiation. Some styles may be labeled with a UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) rating to indicate the level of UV protection the fabric provides when new and properly cared for.
However, NourishGuard does not guarantee complete protection from sun exposure.
Important UPF Information
UPF ratings apply only to:
- The fabric itself
- The areas of the body covered by the garment
UPF protection may be reduced by:
- Stretching
- Wear and tear
- Fabric thinning
- Moisture
- Improper washing or drying

No clothing item provides 100% UV protection.
